Carillon Bell Tower
“Let Freedom Ring”
This beautiful bell tower was built for the California State Fair Memorial Plaza and began playing on the fairgrounds, opening day August 15, 2003. Its “twin sister” is on the campus of Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA.
The Carillon Tower was built by the Verdin Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, which has been building bell and clock towers for cities, churches, universities and memorials since 1842. The Verdin Company is the world’s leading manufacturers of carillon towers.
